Located in west Texas, the 74,762sf Robert Lee ISD K-12 school facility, completed in 2010 has become the area’s most notable school building. The design features a clear separation between the upper and lower grades, with ease of student supervision by staff and faculty. In addition, the cafetorium features tiered seating with stage for UIL type performances and rehearsals. Interior finishes, including terrazzo flooring allows for ease of maintenance. The striking band hall becomes the anchor point of the exterior aesthetic. There are sperate and clearly defined entrances to the district administration, the high school, and the elementary school each featuring a security vestibule for controlling visitor access.
