SUMMARY:
This two story
neoclassical high school, constructed in 1927, suffered
from a lack of adequate air
conditioning, limited accessability,
poor lighting, years of wear and tear
and limited compliace with modern codes. Bringing the structure up to date in ways that enhanced the character of the origional architecture was a challenge. The design brought new life and character to the historic structure, incorporating durable materials and solid design principles that will stand the test of time.
